2019 Race Circuit

Details

The Front Runners Atlanta Race Circuit is a new way to get involved and engage in a bit of friendly competition with your fellow Front Runners.

Rules

  • All 2019 FRA members are eligible to participate.

  • Scored races consist of the Atlanta Track Club Triple Peach series (Peachtree Road Race, Atlanta 10 Miler, and the Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon).

  • Participants must submit race results and required information (name, bib number, age on race day) to the Front Runners president.

  • Competing members must also attend the Pride Run as a volunteer or participant.

  • Runners with scheduling conflicts or other conditions that prevent participating in circuit events may substitute results from a race of equal distance (subject to approval).

  • Participants are expected to adhere to all rules and maintain sportsmanlike conduct at all times. Runners who are disqualified from any event will also be removed from the Race Circuit for the year.

Scoring

Scoring for each race will be based on the Masters Age-Graded Tables from the World Association of Veteran Athletes.  A participant’s race time will be divided into the standard for their age and gender to derive an age-graded score that will then be used to award points.

The standings and point totals will change after more races are run. As runners achieve the race requirement in November, they will be added to the standings.

Visit the USATF website for more information on age-graded scoring.

Awards

A certificate of participation will be awarded to those who have completed the Race Circuit at the end of the year. We will also give awards to the following:

  • Overall Winner - participant with the highest score

  • Runner-Up - participant with the second highest score

  • Go-Getter - participant who volunteered at the most Front Runner events
